I learned a few things this morning. First, Blogger would not let me use my Gmail account from Clark or Google itself. It did, however, let me use my Google+ account. Weird. Oh well, just another of the million sites I have tagged but will never use once they've outlived their purpose.
Honestly, I think the biggest difference in using a digital workspace opposed to using paper is privacy. Sure, I can write a blog and post it for people to read, but when I write something on paper, I feel more secure in the fact that I will be the only one to read it. I don't have to change a setting, or watch what I say. Even if you think something you put on your blog is safe because your friends and followers adore you doesn't mean they're not going to have a difference in opinion. If you're prepared to fight for it, I guess it can turn into a meaningful conversation...at times.
I'm currently a member of Facebook, Tumblr, and Myspace (I'm too lazy to take all my pictures off of there and I want to keep them). I have a Twitter and Google+ account but I never use them.
